Stone from the slopes of Mount Carmel, Haifa, Israel, site of the Bahá’í World Centre. Set here in honour of Shoghi Effendi (1897-1957) Guardian of the Bahá’í Faith, who resided on Mount Carmel and whose remains are laid to rest in this cemetery
